If you need true dry cleaning for items like suits, silk, or specialty garments, we partner with a local dry cleaner and can include those items in your pickup. Just mark them in a separate bag and let us know. Turnaround on dry cleaning is typically 48 to 72 hours.
Most traveler clothing is wash and fold, not dry cleaning. Cotton shirts, denim, athletic wear, and casual pants all run through our standard wash and fold service. Only business suits, silk blouses, and genuine wool items need actual dry cleaning.
Tips for Traveling Light
If you are using The Laundry Spot as your hotel laundry solution, a few tips will stretch your wardrobe further. Pack clothes that layer well rather than bulky items. Bring two or three shirts you can rotate with two pairs of pants and a sweater. Plan one laundry service halfway through a week-long stay, or two during a two-week stay. Skip ironing: our wash and fold folds clothes warm so they come out relatively wrinkle-free.
If you are on an extended stay such as YSU family weekends, relocation assignments, or Ultium Cells contractor work, a weekly pickup and delivery schedule ends up cheaper than bringing enough clothes for the entire trip and dealing with airline baggage fees.
